I had some thoughts about what
P2E is for a Doctor’s office or medical practice. I started to think of the paper chart and the electronic chart as two islands. The Paper Island (The old system of doing things) and the Electronic Island (
EMR Systems and Electronic content Management). You can move to the Electronic Island and build a beautiful house with all the new gadgets but you would have to leave all of your old files on the Paper Island. This makes it very difficult if the information on the paper island is crucial to your business.
That’s where
P2E comes in. We are the link between the two islands or more appropriately a bridge between them, that makes it much easier to move all of your contents from one island to the next.
By scanning the important information from the Paper Island we are creating a link to the Electronic Island, thus making the transition much much smoother.
